All are welcome.
We invite you to make time for yourself, no matter how busy your life may be.
Rainbow Mind is an ongoing meditation and practice group that supports us to remember the richness of being alive. We remember how to enjoy, how to love, and how to proceed into the next moment with less pattern and more potential.
Human struggle is rooted in a set of powerful misunderstandings embedded in the ecosystem of body, heart, and mind. While we may sense that something feels "off" in our state, mood, or thoughts and even believe we know what the problem is, the inner landscape is often difficult to see clearly.
Over time, we learn to see clearly without interfering with our experience or trying to fix what we think is wrong. We don't try to have new and better thoughts or more pleasant feelings. We discover a pristine awareness that helps to uproot the causes and conditions of stress or suffering.
This is a kind of awakening that becomes a gift to others and to the world.
Rainbow Mind offers a gentle structure that supports a regular rhythm of meditation, inquiry, and reflection, while encouraging the integration of practice into everyday life.
Presence is the Guide
Meditation is paradoxical. It is a practice. And practicing reveals our fundamental completeness. It reveals an innate safety and an appreciation for the current moment of life as mundane as it may be. It reveals the delight in letting go of attempting to manage life and figure everything out with our thoughts. It awakens a calm energy throughout the body, a wider perspective in the mind, and an expansion in the heart.
We learn, oddly, that when we stop trying to fix our feelings, our feelings improve. When we stop trying to fix life, life improves. We learn the felt sense of presence, and we learn that it has been here all along. It becomes the guide. It is the seed of newness and creativity.
All of this is much easier (and loads more fun) when we do it together. Join us!
Sessions
Attending regularly is encouraged, but not required.
Weekly Thursday Sessions begin with a 30-minute period of guided sitting/resting practice. Each session ends with a short teaching and/or group reflection. Beyond the weekly session, we offer additional chances to connect through practice and community for those who’d like to join.
The sense of togetherness and support—online—is warm and unmistakable.
To support you, Rainbow Mind folks receive a detailed written weekly teaching, summarizing and expanding on the themes explored in each session. These teachings include practice suggestions and additional resources to help bridge the gap between meditation and life.
Individual Support
Group members may book individual sessions at a reduced rate.
Shorter private Zoom meetings can also be scheduled at no extra charge for one-on-one guidance, offering a space to explore whatever is unfolding for you.
You are encouraged to reach out to Adam with questions, insights, or anything arising in the "laboratory" of your life.
